Still under 21 years of age, the mother of two children today filed suit in Circuit Court for a divorce, asking for the custody of an infant daughter and stating she would agree to have her husband retain custody of their son, less than two years old. Mrs. Geraldine B. Nichol, represented by Edward J. Ryan, filed the action in the name of her father and next friend, Alvin Crowe, of Lonaconing, against William M. Nichol, a Baltimore and Ohio Railroad brakeman. She said they were married April 15, 1944, in Lonacoing, and charged him with cruelty.
