- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Bertha Fike, 90, of 118 Stone Road, Fort Richie, Fla., died yesterday in a hospital there. A native of Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Henrietta (Crowe) Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fike. Surviving are two sons, Carl Fike, with whom she resided; Leslie Fike, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Keene, Frostburg; Mrs. Arta Cook, Wilmington, Del., and one brother, Marion Murphy, Frostburg. Services and interment will be conducted Friday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 8, 1972
