- Tri-Towns, Dec. 23 — Funeral services for Thomas Olen Wilt, 65, husband of Mrs. Lucinda (Broadwater) Wilt, who died yesterday morning at his home at Franklin, Md., following an illness of two weeks, will be held at his residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 p. m., by the Rev. William Wilkinson, pastor of the Franklin Mission. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. A son of the late Peter and Sarah Wilt, he was born on Savage Mountain, Garrett county, six miles from Barton. He retired from farming when he moved to Franklin ten years ago. Besides his widow he is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Harry Wilt, Jennings, Md.; Mrs. Raymond Russell, Barton; Mrs. Robert Loar, Misses Elsie, Blanche and Freda Wilt, at home; three sons, Estie, Marshall and Virgil Wilt, all at home; two brothers, Benjamin L. Wilt, Barton, and Floyd Wilt, Eckhart; a sister, Mrs. Harvey Warnick, Cumberland, and 11 grandchildren. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 23, 1946
