  Notes	Jerry Ralph Hoover, 75, of Cumberland died July 15, 2018, at home. Born Nov. 16, 1942, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Virgil R. and Mary C. (Townsend) Hoover. Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a truck driver for years. Jerry attended Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting. He also loved trucks, shuffleboard, and sports of all types. Surviving are his wife, Martha (Lavin) Hoover; beloved son, Michael Hoover; two sisters, Brenda Ebersole and husband, Toby, and Helen Libey; and two nieces, Sherrill Libey and Rebecca Ebersole. At Jerry's request, he was cremated. Memorial services will be conducted at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. Published in Cumberland Times-News on August 5, 2018
