Preceded in death by parents and sister Jennie Weiss. Survived by wife of 55 years, Ethel (Swearman) Martincic; daughters, Jean wife of Thomas P. Haus of Lancaster and Kim Martincic of Long Island City, N.Y., and three grandchildren. He was a retired locomotive engineer for the B&O Railroad and a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a founding member of the Pine Turn Rod and Gun Club in Black Township. He was a member of the American Legion Post 279 in Rockwood, the VFW Post 7295 in Berlin, and the FOE Aerie 1188 in Latrobe. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Pastor George Mason officiating.
