- BARTON — Mrs. Elsie Mowbray Boddicker, 82, of Route 36, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Lonaconing Nov. 1, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Thornton and Eleanor Blanche (Murphy) Crowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mowbray. Mrs. Boddicker was a member of Barton United Methodist Church and the Friendly Helpers Bible Class. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Grayson, Keyser, W.Va.; Mrs. Ruth Keesling, Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. June Ruffo, Crownsville; one brother, Olin M. Crowe, New Kensington, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, Friday. Services will be conducted there Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Todd Rawlings. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
