- Frostburg, Nov. 22 — Walter Engle, 62, well known business man of Eckhart, died early Thursday morning after a brief illness. A native of Eckhart, and a son of the late William and Catherine Engle, he was a brother of the late William and James Engle, who owned meat markets in this city for many years. Like his brothers, Mr. Engle was also a meat dealer and maintained a dairy plant on his farm. The last member of his family, he leaves his widow, the former Miss Cecilia Porter, and one son, Walter Lester Engle, and three grandchildren, Eckhart. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 22, 1940
