- SALISBURY, Pa. - Rena E. (Minnick) Brant McKenzie, 79, of 9586 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, died Thursday, March 5, 1998, at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Sept. 18, 1918, in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Edna (Layman) Minnick. She also was preceded in death by two husbands, Chester Brant and Cobey McKenzie.
Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Grantsville, Md.
Surviving are five sons, William Brant, Silver Spring, Md., Chester Brant, College Park, Md., Ervin Brant, Lonaconing, Md., Robert Brant, Riverdale, Md., and John Brant, Zihlman, Md.; four daughters, Evelyn Resh and Darlene Bone, both of Frostburg, Juanita Tuck, Salisbury, Pa., and Cheryl Garvey, Beltsville, Md.; 28 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Grantsville, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William Moody officiating.
Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.
