- Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning, Sept. 14, for Barry Richard McKenzie, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William McKenzie of Waverly, Iowa. The baby was born at Mercy Hospital, Monday morning and died the same afternoon. The Rev. J. D. Mahoney of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiated and burial was in Babyland at Harlington Cemetery. Mr. McKenzie is employed at the John Deere factory in Waterloo, Ia., and they have lived in Waverly the past year. The infant was the first grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Lee McKenzie, Berlin R.D. 2, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raupauch of Glencoe. Meyersdale Republican, September 23, 1948
