MARY LOU EPPS, 68, VANDALIA
"Mary Lou Epps, 68, of Vandalia died at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at her home."
"Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, with the Rev. Doug Wodtka officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo. Memorials: The Epps family."
"Mrs. Epps was born on April 1, 1935, in St. Elmo, the daughter of John E. Grubaugh and Ruth A. Grubaugh. She married John William Epps on August 29, 1953, in Vandalia. He died on July 27, 1981."
"She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Laides Auxiliary of Vandalia."
"She is survived by son Michael Epps and his wife Linda of Vandalia; sisters, Fern Weber of Oconee, Viola Lanton of Decatur and Helen Doyle of Vandalia; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and close friends, Hope, Merle and Danny."
