"WILLIAM BRADY"
"News of the death of William Brady, about 45 years old, assistant secretary of H. C. Frick Coal and Coke Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., and former well-known Danville man, was received here Thursday."
"Mr. Brady was born and reared in Danville and began his association with U.S Fuel Company in the Westville office about 20 years ago. He later became secretary to Thomas Moses, who went from Danville to Pittsburgh in 1927 as president of the Frick Company, and accompanied him east. He was appointed assistant secretary of the company several years later."
"Surviving are the widow and five children and five sisters, two of whom still live in Danville. The local sisters are Mrs. Thomas Walters, 1134 N. Walnut St., who left here Wednesday for Pittsburg, and Mrs. Jane Frankeberger, 926 N. Jackson St. The other sisters are Mrs. Vera Taylor, Milwaukee, Mrs. Mae McKown, Warsaw, Ind., and Mrs. Neil Eckert, Chicago. Mrs. Eckert also left Wednesday for Pittsburg."
"The surviving children are Mary Susan, Patrick, Peggy, William, and John Gary."
"Death was due to pneumonia and occurred Wednesday evening, Nov. 30, 1938, according to the message received here."
"Funeral services will be in St. Bernard Church in Pittsburg at 10 a.m. Friday. The body will then be brought to Danville, arriving early Saturday, and taken to Berhalter Funeral Home. At 10 a.m. Saturday, it will be taken to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial. The Rev. T. F. Monahan, pastor of St. Paul's Catholic Church here, will conduct brief services at the grave."
