"Dale Hosler, 89, of Penfield died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 1994, at Covenant Medical Center, Urbana."
"A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Penfield, with the Rev. Dwight Campbell officiating. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery."
"Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, was in charge of arrangements."
"Mr. Hosler was born Feb. 14, 1905, in Piatt County, a son of William and Mary McKenzie Hosler. He married Agnes Armstrong on Feb. 12, 1930, at Seymour. She died Dec.1, 1987."
"Survivors include two sons, William Hosler of Granville, Ohio, and Charles Hosler of Potomac; two daughters, Mary Miles of Penfield and Frances Davis of Rantoul; a sister, Lora Hosler Catlin of Monticello; ten grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren."
"He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters."
"Mr. Hosler farmed in Piatt, Champaign and Vermilion counties for 45 years. He retired in 1975 to Penfield. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church."
