- Mrs. Aaron McKenzie, an aged widow living about two miles east of this place, met with quite a serious accident, Friday evening, which resulted in her death a short time afterwards. She was leaning over a fire, lighting her pipe, when her clothing caught fire and burned her almost to death before assistance could reach her. Interment at the Curry Cemetery Sunday at 2 p.m.
