  Notes	Dorothy E. Glessner, 79, Friedens, passed on Nov. 12, 2010, at Meadow View Nursing Center in Berlin. Born July 31, 1931, in Romney, WV, she is the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Martha (Chaney) Monnett. She is also preceded in death by her husband William; granddaughter Jennifer Hope Hottle; and grandson Keagan Law. She is survived by her children: William R. Glessner (Barbara), Berlin; Linda Hottle (William Dively), Friedens; and Joyce Weigle (the Rev. Larry), Stoystown; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother Melvin Monnett, Baltimore, Md. Dorothy was the long-time owner of Glessner’s Beauty Salon with 35 years of operation, and was also a former owner of The Coffee Shop Restaurant in Somerset. There will be a private service and interment at the request of the family. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Reading Grace Brethren Church.
