- MT. SAVAGE - Pearl Doris Emerick, 86, of Sunnyside passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. Born August 1, 1926 in Finzel, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wagner and Bertha (McKenzie) Wagner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Emerick, sister, Colleen Denton and brother, Marshall Wagner. Pearl was a homemaker. Her four girls and grandchildren were the most important thing in life. She is survived by daughters, Karan Jones, Mt. Savage; Shari Hovatter and husband, Keith, Mt. Savage; Faye Jones and husband, John Mt. Savage; and Mary Davis and husband Jack, Jr., Potomac Park; sisters, June Dodd, Moorefield; and Alice Rogers, North Carolina; brothers, Jack Wagner, NC; Fred Wagner, VA; Kenny Wagner, NC; and Gene Wagner, TX; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; special niece, Bonnie Emerick ; and nephew Will Emerick. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
