- Oscar Minick – Frostburg – Oscar Minick, 72, of RD 2, was dead on arrival yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary (McKenzie) Minick. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and was last employed by the City of Frostburg at the Piney Run Dam. A number of nieces and nephews survive. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held there today at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church and burial will be in the McKenzie Cemetery, Garrett County. Pallbearers will be Cecil Baker, Ronald Ackerman, Joseph Brown, Harold McKenzie, Jr., David McKenzie and Ronald Faidley. Cumberland Evening Times, Friday, June 3, 1977
