- Homer Lee Blauch GREEN SPRING, W.Va. - Homer Lee Blauch, 58, died Thursday at his home. Born in Short Gap on April 16, 1928, he was the son of Ethel (McKenzie) Blauch, Short Gap and the late Bruce F. Blauch Sr. Mr. Blauch was employed as a plumber-pipefitter, Local 489. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict; a member of Oldtown VFW, Clifford Sisler Post, and attended Green Spring Assembly of God Church. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his widow, Jennie Lee (Thompson); one son Robert D. Marshall, at home; three daughters, Kathy Lee Blauch and Barbara L. Bucklew, at home; Mrs. Sharon Nieves, Newark, N.J.; four brothers, Haven Blauch, Neffsville, Pa; Thomas Blauch and George Blauch, both of Tampa, Fla.; and Bruce L. Blauch Jr., J a c k s o n s v ille , F la .; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Hiett, Mrs. Margaret Ward, and Mrs. Loretta Thomas, all of Short Gap; Mrs. Darlene Gulino, Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cumberland, Md., Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Green Spring Assembly of God Church Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev.
