Notes	FROSTBURG — Mrs. Laura (Layton) Winebrenner, 76, widow of James Winebrenner, Long Stretch, died late last night in Miners' Hospital where she was admitted several days ago. Surviving are 11 children, Howard Winebrenner, Cumberland; James Winebrenner, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Alice Hetz, Meyersdale, Pa.; Mrs. Myrtle Wade, Boswell, Pa., and Roy, Harry, Clayton, Grant, Francis, Leonard, and Nellie Winebrenner, Long Stretch; and a sister, Mrs. Clara Rice, Midlothian. The body is at the residence. The Cumberland Evening Times, March 29, 1950 FROSTBURG, April 1 — Services for Mrs. Laura (Layton) Winebrenner, who died Tuesday in Miners Hospital, were held from her home on Long Stretch yesterday. Rev. Raymond Crowe, pastor of the Midland Methodist Circuit. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Long Stretch. Pallbearers were Edward Baker, Harold McKenzie, Clarence McKenzie, Noah Baker and Melvin Garlitz. The Cumberland Sunday Times, April 2, 1950
