- Mr. Denver L. Harvey, 89, of Frederick, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Annice M. Rankin Harvey. Born Nov. 1, 1927, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Charles and Maggie McKenzie Harvey. Denver proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the State Highway Admin. as a surveyor. Denver enjoyed his retirement and was happiest when he was gardening. He is survived by his children, Denver S. Harvey of Frederick, and Ann Marie Harvey of Lake Moses, Wash.; brother, Leland K. Harvey of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Glen, Robert and Charles; and his sister, Wilma. The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at 2 p.m. The Rev.
