- (Medical):Rose graduated from Maine Wesleyan Seminary at Kent's Hill, ME, in 1859. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in Lawrence or Lowell, MA, either or both, before moving to Newton Highlands, MA. Family tradition mentions that Rose had a good disposition, was easy going, moved slowly with no regard for time, and was a splendid cook with pise her specialty.
Her husband, Salmon Willoughby Wilder, owned and operated the Merrimac Paper Mill in Lawrence, Ma.
