- Mrs. Hugh Stevenson – Lonaconing, Oct. 6 – Services were held this afternoon in Ford Memorial Methodist Church, Ford City, Pa. near Pittsburgh, for Mrs. Fannie Stevenson, 67, wife of Hugh Stevenson, native of Lonaconing, who died Tuesday evening in Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. The pastor, Rev. C.L. Moore, officiated, and interment was in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Mrs. Stevenson was born February 1, 1878, the daughter of the late John and Eliza (Ward) Wright. She was a member of the Pythian of Lonaconing, and of Ford memorial Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters and two sons: Mrs. Samuel B. McFarlane, of Lonaconing; Mrs. Jennie McKenzie, Frostburg; Mrs. William F. Lewis, Uniontown, Pa.; Mrs. T.J. Gillen, Ford City; Mrs. Harry Mixelberger, Ford City; Albert Stevenson of Ford City, who was honorably discharged from the Navy recently, and Hugh Stevenson, RDM 2-c, Navy, enroute home from the Pacific. Also surviving are a brother, Albert Wright, of Ford City, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Cumberland Sunday Times Sunday, October 7, 1945
