- Mrs. Verna C. Hostetler, 62, of West National Highway, Cumberland, Md., died Oct. 12, 1979 at Frostburg Community Hospital. She was born in Finzel, she was a daughter of the late Daniel B. Clark and Minnie C. (Drees) Clark. Her husband, Carl C. Hostetler, died in January 1977. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are one son, Paul Hostetler, Cumberland, Md., one brother, William Clark, Mt. Savage, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Arnold and Mrs. Hilda Rosenberger, both of Finzel, Md.; Mrs. Mabel Arnold, Cumberland, Md.; and one grandson. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home. Meyersdale, The Republic, October 18, 1979.
