  Notes	Robert J. "Bud" Newman, 77, of Salisbury, died Friday, December 3, 1976, at home. Born April 5, 1899, in Elk Lick Township, he was a son of the late Jerome and Mary Ann Maust Newman. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Alice Clark, and one son, Paul. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Haas, Tioga Falls, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bepler of Florida, and Mrs. Elizabeth Folk of Salisbury; and two grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Salisbury, and a life member of the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral services were held Monday at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment, Greenville Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, December 9, 1976. He was buried on 6 Dec 1976 in Greenville Lutheran Cemetery, Pocahontas, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.
