Mrs. Martha Ellen Clark, 72, of 511 Dilley Street, died last night at the home of her sister, Miss Clara Petenbrink. Born in Wellersburg, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Everline Petenbrink. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Besides her sister, she is survived by six sons, Samuel H. Clark, Baltimore Pike; Carl E. Clark, Gibson Island, Md.; Clyde E. and Melvin E. Clark, both of Freeport, Texas; Orville Clark, New Haven, Indiana; and John W. Clark, city; six daughters, Mrs. E. M. Horchler, Bedford Road; Mrs. Erma Rice, Huntington, Indiana; Mrs. Ida Schadt, city; Mrs. Grace LaFlame and Mrs. William Swan, both of Dundalk; and Mrs. Roger Plew, Columbia City, Indiana; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The body is at the Silcox Funeral Residence where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 today, and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 tomorrow. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. George A. Hazen and Rev. Allen J. Beck. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
