Samuel Louis Lease, 70, of Lillian Drive, Glen Oaks, Cresaptown, died today at Sacred Heart Hospital, where he was admitted yesterday. He had been in ill health two years. Born May 23, 1905 at Cresaptown, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Arzella (Lease) Lease. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and was a retired employe of the Allegany County Roads Department. Surviving are his widow, Anna M. (McKenzie) Lease; two daughters, Miss Marie Lease, at home, and Mrs. Eva J. Goldsworthy, Fairgo; two sons, James L. Lease, Lillian Drive, and Samuel E. Lease, Short Gap; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Rappold, Baltimore; Mrs. Evelyn Poland, Arnold, Md., and Mrs. Matilda Jackson, Alexandria; four brothers, Harry Lease, Cresaptown; Marshall Lease, Summersville, W.Va.; Jesse L. Lease, Brant Road, Cresaptown, and Emmanuel Lease, Cresaptown, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received in the George Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 11, 1976.
