- She died on 15 Mar 1952 in Cresaptown, Allegany Co., Maryland. Mrs. Susie G. McKenzie, 79, Pinto, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. A native of Winchester, Va., she had resided in the Pinto area for 60 years. Mrs. McKenzie was a daughter of the late James and Harriet (Dawes) Benn. Her husband, George M. McKenzie, died in 1942. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Myrtle Wertz, LaVale, to whose home the body will be taken; Lester McKenzie, RD 5, city; Mrs. Ethel Blauch, RD 2, Keyser, W. Va.; and Mrs. Alice Blauch, RD 5, Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Martin, Weston, W. Va.; and Mrs. Margaret Dudley, city; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p. m. in Pinto Mennonite Church by Bishop Ray Otto, pastor of Springs, Pa., Mennonite Church, and Rev. Chester Helmick, pastor. Burial will be in Pinto Mennonite Cemetery. The Cumberland Sunday Times, March 16, 1952 She was buried on 17 Mar 1952 in Pinto Mennonite Church Cemetery, Pinto, Maryland.
