- CUMBERLAND — Dennis R. Lilly, 59, of Cumberland, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at his residence. Born Dec. 4, 1947, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late George W. Lilly Sr. and Marquerite June (Elrick) Lilly. Dennis was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Savage, and attended Friends Aware. Surviving are one brother, George W. Lilly Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Ellerslie; one sister, Mary Teter and husband Dave, Mount Savage; nieces, Cindy Troutman and husband Mark, Carrie Witt and husband Rob and Connie Griffith and husband Nick, all of Mount Savage; one nephew, Eric Lilly, Keedysville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special caregiver, Darlena Butler, Cumberland. There will be no visitations and the funeral services will be private. Interment of his ashes will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Mount Savage. The Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Friends Aware, 1601 Holland St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
