- Jeanne B. Otto, 67, Salisbury, died Oct. 23, 2010, at Somerset Hospital, Somerset. Born March 3, 1943, in Salisbury, she is the daughter of the late Colonel and Almetia (Brown) Bowman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Otto Jr.; and her stepdaughter, Dianna Harshberger. Surviving are two stepsons, John (Amy) Harshberger, Salisbury and Paul (Sonya) Harshberger, Hutchinson, Kan.; her sister, Peggy (Gary) Baer, Salisbury; four grandchildren: Kyle, Mitchell, Alayna and Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Kaylee; her godchild, Shelley Otto, Morgantown, WV; two brothers-in-law, Chester (Janet) Otto, Accident, Md. and Blair (LuAnn) Otto, Salisbury; one sister-in-law, Gloria Borton, Albuquerque, N.M.; and her closest and best friend, Hulda “Skip” Sturtz, Frostburg, Md. Mrs. Otto was a member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren and Salisbury Firemen’s Auxiliary. She had been employed as a domestic housekeeper. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury. Service will be conducted in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Kevin Broadwater officiating. Cremation will follow the service and interment will be in Grantsville Cemetery.
