  Notes	Cumberland, MD - Teresa “Peach” May Raley, 67, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Born October 9, 1946, in Frostburg, MD, Peach was the daughter of the late John Earl Raley and Rita (McKenzie) Raley. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Jim Beechie. Peach was a graduate of Beall High School, Class of 1966. She was a noted author known as “Dr. Tmar” and wrote the books: “Signs of Time” and “Why Me.” Peach is survived by her sisters: Patsy Beechie; Peggy Booth and husband, Walter; and her brother: John Raley and wife, Barbara. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Jim Beechie and wife, Marsha; Jennifer Weimer and husband, Ron; Joe Booth and fiancée, Penny Whitaker; Denise Booth; Leslie Merrill and husband, Tony; Stacy Morgan and husband, Jason; Heather Raley; and Eric Raley and fiancée, Kayla Norris; her special best friend: Wanda Lawhorn; her special friends: Bill Rankin and Eugene Younger; and her feline friend: Kee Kee. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 P.M., to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Holding Hands for Haley, 11800 House Drive, NE, Cumberland, MD 21502.
