- Griffith T. Connor – Eckhart – Griffith T. Connor, 54, died at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, yesterday after having been a patient for the past seven weeks. He was the son of the late Louis B. and Anna (Davis) Connor. He was employed by the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and was a member of the Eckhart Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow Della (McKenzie) Connor; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Hansel, Corriganville; three sons, Donald Connor, Frostburg and Bernard and Gary Connor, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Shade, LaVale, and Mrs. Joseph Miller, Frostburg; three brothers, Charles Connor, Cumberland, and Louis and Crawford Connor, Eckhart, and five grandsons. The body will be at the Durst Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev Louis Emerick. Interment will be in the Eckhart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bernard Henaghan, William Porter, John Brode, William Barry, George McGann and Thomas Carter. Cumberland Evening Times, Monday, May 19, 1958
