- Simon Paul Ebaugh, 74, Boswell, died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Meyersdale, March 21, 1875, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Reinholt Ebaugh. His wife, Mrs. Jane Elena Richards Ebaugh, whom he married in April 1903, survives together with the following children: Mrs. Vivian Beltz, Smyrna, Del.; Mrs. Leone Haren, at home; Mrs. Naomi Hunt and Mrs. Clara Sullivan, both of Philadelphia; Mrs. Bernadine Danforth and Mrs. Lena Zweifel, both of San Luis Obispo, Cal.; Simon P. Ebaugh, Jr. and Mrs. Alice McLaughlin, both of Long Island, N. Y.; Mrs. Gertrude Staneski, New York; 21 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a sister, Miss Agnes Ebaugh, Meyersdale. A son and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Boswell, and Spanish American War Veterans. Friends are being received in the home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's church, Boswell, with the Rev. Father Albert Dartland officiating. Burial in SS Philip and James cemetery, Meyersdale.
