SALISBURY — Mrs. Cecelia G. Bowman, 86, died yesterday at her home in Boynton. Born in Garrett County, Mrs. Bowman was a daughter of the late Wells and Mahala (Weimer) Garlitz and was the widow of Milton S. Bowman. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Surviving are four sons, Edward and Colonel Bowman, both of here; Ralph Bowman, Boynton, and Grant Bowman, West Salisbury; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Engle and Mrs. Iva Vought, both of Boynton; Mrs. Jenny Shaulis, Bedford; Mrs. Junes Shoemaker, of here, and Mrs. Doris D'Este, Meyersdale; a sister, Mrs. Julia Deniker, Grove City; a brother, Joseph Garlitz, Pruita, Colo.; 5 grandchildren; 36 great-granchildren arid four great-great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Thomas Funeral Home after 7 p. m. today. A requiem mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a. m. at St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in Salisbury IOOF Cemetery.
