Mrs. Blanche Marie Jenkins, 77, of 531 O'Neil Street, died yesterday at University Nursing Home in Wheaton, where she had been a patient three weeks. She had been in ill health the past year. Born in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Dennis P. and Margaret (McKenzie) LaRue. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence George Jenkins; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Nies, RD 1, Mrs. John Bridges, Baltimore Pike; Mrs. Ralph Becraft, Burtonsville, and Mrs. Opha Arbogast, Levels; two sons, Carl Jenkins, Furnace Acres, and Louis D. Jenkins, city; 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there Saturday at l p.m. with Rev. William Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
