RUBY C. Jenkins
Ruby Catherine Jenkins, 86, Westminster, formerly of Randallstown, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2005, at her home.
Born Jan. 12, 1919, in Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late Delbert Lawrence and Manie (Broadwater) Durst. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Jenkins, Aug. 3, 2003.
She was a retired health care worker for Shepherd-Pratt Hospital, Towson.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry Grimes and Carolyn Long, both of Westminster; one brother, Paul Durst, Grantsville; one sister, Vera Merrill, Grantsville; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
A service was held today, Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Tom Wegman officiating.
Interment was in Grantsville Cemetery.
