- CUMBERLAND - Edgar C. Nazelrod, 81, of 12 West Second Street, Apartment B, died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991, at Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 12, 1909, in Thomas, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jonah P. and Nannie I. Nazelrod. Mr. Nazelrod was retired from the maintenance department of the Celanese Fibers Corporation. He was a former tractor-trailer driver for Howell Coal Company and a longtime coin collector who participated in flea markets and coin shows. Surviving are his former wife, Mary Growden, Cumberland; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Isabelle M. Hartsock, Jacksonville, Fla.; and two step-grandsons, Paul Yates, Baltimore; and Charles Hartsock, Jacksonville. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue. Services will be conducted there Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Timothy Monn. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. Pallbearers will be Earl Ashenfelter, Whitey Eror, Clifton Shaffer, Jack Whittington and James Roby. Cumberland Times-News, Wednesday, February 13, 1991
