- Cresaptown - Clarence M. "Buck" McKenzie, 64, of 12604 Valley View Avenue, Cresaptown, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Cresaptown June 26, 1925, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Alice Marie (Robison) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was retired from Potomac Farms Dairy and was formerly employed by Mason's Dairy. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, the Cresaptown Eagles, the Cresaptown Amvets, and Cumberland Lodge 271, Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include his widow, Mary Elizabeth (McKenzie) McKenzie; one son, John T. Atkinson, Cumberland; one daughter, Jolieta Connor, Frostburg; three sisters, Helen R. Lease, Cresaptown; Margaret A. Clayton, Riverdale; and Theresa E. McKenzie, Cresaptown; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cresaptown. The Cresaptown Eagles will hold a memorial service at the funeral home Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A Christian wake service will be held there Sunday at 8 p.m. Mass of the Christian burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church by the Rev. DeSales Young. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale. Cumberland Times-News obituary
