LONACONING - Robert L. McKenzie, 85, of RD 1, Frostburg, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Leo William McKenzie and Honora (Coleman) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie retired in 1966 as custodian for the Berea, Ohio Board of Education. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society, Midland, he also was a member of Senior Citizens of Lonaconing and Adult Day Care Center. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Agnes B. Shoemaker and Mrs. Mary Monroe, both of Gilmore, and several nieces and nephews, including Martha Kerr, Gilmore. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church with Father William Dalton as celebrant.
