- Eugene McKenzie, 96, of Meyersdale, died June 29, 2012 at home. Born April 6, 1916 in Greenville Township, the son of the late William and Bertha (Johnson) McKenzie. Also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Frank and Elzie McKenzie, Elmer Caton, Pearl Sturtz, and Sarah Knepp. Survived by his wife, the former Martha E. Hahn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a W.W.II Army veteran. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. noon, Monday, at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Arrangements by William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale. Somerset Daily American, June 29, 2012.
