Born September 12, 1979 in Johnstown, she is a daughter of Larry Mazer and his wife Susan Mazer Winger of Johnstown and Sally (Hay) Deist and her husband David of Somerset. Abby is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William and June Hay and paternal grandparents Lewis and Sylvia Mazer. She is survived by her parents; son Brayden L. Mazer of Rockwood; sister Jessica Baker and husband Ben of Sipesville; and significant friend Jason Gindlesperger of Somerset. Abby was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset and volunteered at Camp Sequanota in Jennerstown. She was a caring, kind-hearted person who enjoyed spending time with her son and family. Friends will be received from 9-11 AM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church with a service to follow at 11 AM, pastor Linda McElroy Thomas officiating. Interment will be private.
