- W. Marshall Durst, 89, of Grantsville, died Sept. 2, 1975, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. A native of New Germany, he was a son of the late Augustus and Nancy (McKenzie) Durst. He and his wife, the former Della Broadwater, who survives, had been married 68 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist church. Also surviving are a son, M. Harold Durst, Grantsville; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Delbert Durst, Grantsville; and George Durst, Flintstone, Md. Funeral service was conducted Friday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home with Mrs. Sadie Triplett officiating. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, September 11, 1975
He was buried in Grantsville Cemetery, Garrett Co., Maryland.
