William Leo Goldsworthy, 70, of 218 Winchester Road, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He had been in ill health the past year. Born at Frostburg, he was a son of the late Paul and Ann (Helfrich) Goldsworthy. Mr. Goldsworthy was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and was a retired employe of Martin-Marietta Aircraft Company. Surviving are his widow, Mary V. (McKenzie) Goldsworthy; two sons, William P., Fairgo, and John L. Goldsworthy, Cumberland; a brother, Paul R. Goldsworthy, LaVale; a sister, Mrs. Regina Hinds, this city, and a granddaughter. The body is at the George Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there today at 7:45 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, November 30, 1970 Is buried in the St. Pater & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Cumberland, Maryland.
