- LONACONING - James Mahlon Maust, 74, of RD 1, Lonaconing, died Friday, April 30,1993 at Frostburg Hospital. Bom June 19, 1918, at Salisbury, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Eleanor (Thomas) Maust. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Madeline (McKenzie) Maust; three brothers, Sylvester Maust, Dayton, Ohio; Denver Maust, Akron, Ohio; and Leroy Maust, Salisbury, Pa.; one sister, Isabel Scheffel, New Providence, Pa. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Msgr. John Reinsfelder officiating. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. A christian wake service will be said Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The Cumberland Times-News, May 1, 1993.
