FROSTBURG - Mary Caroline Jackie Warner, 76, of 79 Old Blocher Road, Frostburg (Garrett County), died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born May 14, 1926, in Avilton, she was a daughter of the late Sebastian William and Ethel Frances (Garlitz) McKenzie. She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Shirley Resh; and two brothers, Gerald and Francis McKenzie. Mrs. Warner was of the Catholic Faith and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, William K. Warner; one stepdaughter, Wanda Garlitz, Avilton; two brothers, Paul McKenzie, Avilton, and Jesse McKenzie, Northfield, Ohio; four sisters, Madeline Maust, Avilton, Betty OGrince, Frostburg, Margaret Pallotta, Bedford, Ohio, Jennie Mae Vivian, Blacksburg, Va.; 11 step-grandchildren; and 20 step great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
