She died on 9 Jul 2001 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. Dorothy Agnes Arnold, 78, of Sampson Rock Road, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center. Born Oct. 16, 1922, in Finzel, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Barbara (McKenzie) Raley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Arnold; one son, Ralph Arnold; one daughter, Bonnie Twigg; 16 brothers and sisters, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Arnold was a homemaker and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Booth and husband Jack, and Robin Shaver and husband John, all of Frostburg; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Arnold, Frostburg; seven grandchildren, Sherry Buffenmyer and husband Jeffrey, Frostburg, Ralph Arnold Jr. and wife Molly, Frostburg, Jack Booth and wife Michelle, Mount Savage, Stephen Booth and wife Amy, Mount Savage, Charles Arnold and wife Robin, Frostburg, Jocelyn Shaver, Frostburg, and Ian Shaver, Frostburg; eight great-grandchildren, Andrew Witt Jr., Connor Arnold, Joshua Booth, Taylor Buffenmyer, Cassie Arnold, Kaitlyn Booth, Haley Booth, and Alexie Arnold; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A wake service will be held there at 3 p.m. by Father Jack Lombardi. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father Adam Parker as celebrant. Interment will be in the Arnold-Layton Cemetery, Finzel. She was buried on 12 Jul 2001 in Arnold-Layton Cemetery, Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland.
