- FROSTBURG — Isabel L. Minnick, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 29, 1931, she was the daughter of Simon Caton and Minnie McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Minnick; and two sons, Robert and Gary Minnick. Mrs. Minnick was formerly employed by Silverleaf restaurant and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Williams and husband James, Frostburg; a son, Joseph Minnick and wife Chris, Frostburg; and daughter, Teresa Topper and husband David, Finzel; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Anthony Caton, Lawrence Caton, and Stanley Caton; one sister, May McKenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Eric Gauchat O.F.M. CAP officiating. Interment will be in Finzel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny McKenzie, Terry McKenzie, David Siegmyer, Timmy Sieg-myer, David Kitis, and John Kitis.
