Oren S. MCKENZIE (Urias-3, Ambrose G.-2, John M.-1) was born about 1907 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. He died on 28 Jan 1975 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. Oren S. McKenzie, 68, of Red Hill, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He had been in ill health the past six months. A native of Frostburg, he was a son of the late Urias and Cordelia (Hutzell) McKenzie. His wife, Emma (Patton) McKenzie, died January 20, 1974. A retired timber and coal company operator, he was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, Warren F. McKenzie, Panama City, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. William F. Beaver, Camp Spring; Mrs. Ralph 0. Bowman, Bel Air, city, and Mrs. John Theriac, Chuyla Vista, Cal.; a brother, George L. McKenzie, Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Orpha Miller, Dalton, Ohio, and seven grandchildren. The body will be at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, LaVale, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The Cumberland News, January 29, 1975
