- Edwin Bright WARNICK (son of Willie B. WARNICK and Virgie V. WARNICK) was born on 15 Jul 1931 in New Germany, Garrett Co., Maryland. He died on 18 Feb 2008 in Cumberland, Allegany Co., Maryland. February 19, 2008 - Cumberland Times-News - GRANTSVILLE - Bright Warnick, 76, of Grantsville, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at WMHS-Braddock Campus, Cumberland. Born July 15, 1931 in New Germany, he was the son of the late Willie B. and Virgie V. (Warnick) Warnick. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bob" Warnick. Bright graduated from Grantsville High School and was a retired lifetime dairy farmer. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, New Germany, a past member of the Garrett County Farm Bureau and Woodmen of the World, Lodge 41, Grantsville. Bright deeply loved the Lord and his family and loved spending his time with both. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, M. Carol (McKenzie) Warnick; three daughters, Pamela Pfaff and husband Mark, Grantsville, Kimberly Hartman, Woodbridge, Va. and Kristl Marley and husband Jeff, Germantown; four brothers, William Mahlon Warnick and wife Dorothy "Dot", Grantsville, Archie L. Warnick and wife Janet, Bowie, Jack D. Warnick and wife Rosalie, Frostburg and Larry "Pete" Warnick and wife Nancy, Grantsville; four sisters, Darleen Harris, LaVale, Doris Hartman, Cumberland, Wilda Englehart and husband William, Doylestown, Pa. and Sheila McKenzie and husband Fred, Frostburg; two grandsons, Aiden Hartman and Luke Marley; two step-grandchildren, Logan and Madison Pfaff. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at Trinity United Church of Christ on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Wanda Lester officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Trinity Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Trinity Church Cemetery Fund or Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad.
