Harold Lee McKenzie, 77, of Old Beall School Road, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. He had been in ill health for three years. Born in Garrett County, he was the son of the late William McKenzie and Lavina (Machin) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie was a retired farmer and trapper. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Midlothian. Surviving are his widow, the former Velma Wilson, three daughters, Mrs. Norma Lee Keller, Cumberland, Mrs. Elaine A. McClung, Fort Ashby, West Va., Mrs Doris L. McKenzie, Frostburg, three sons, Donald E. McKenzie, Akron, Ohio, Harold L. McKenzie, Jr., Frostburg, Roger D. McKenzie, Stafford, Va., one sister, Mrs. Bertha Wagner, Spartanburg, South Carolina, five brothers, Robert McKenzie of Florida, Frederick McKenzie and Richard McKenzie, both of Frostburg, Murrell McKenzie and Albert McKenzie, both of Rt. 2 Frostburg, 21 grandchildren and 19 great grand-children. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Assembly of God, Midlothian, by the Rev. James E. Johnson. Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery, Garrett County. Friends may call at the church one hour before the services. The family requests that memorials take the form of donations to the Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad or to the Frostburg Area Ambulance Service.
