- Pauline W. Garlitz, 83, of Frostburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 07, 2017, at WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center. Born June 22, 1934, in Frostburg, the daughter of Albert and Ethel (Minnick) McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Ellis Garlitz; Gloria Woodard, Frostburg and Glenda George and husband, Charles, Schellsburg, Pa.; she was grandmother to five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. with the funeral service to follow with the Rev. Joe Penick officiating. Interment will be in Emmanuel Methodist Cemetery. Published in Cumberland Times-News on October 7, 2017
