Stanley (Himie) McKenzie, 47, of Star Route, Frostburg, died yesterday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Washington, D. C. Born near Frostburg, he was he son of the late Noah and Inez (Minnick) McKenzie. Surviving are his widow Evelyn (Broadwater) McKenzie; three brothers, Leo, Clinton and Cobey McKenzie, all of Frostburg; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Spiker, Midland; Mrs. Bertha Garlitz, Frostburg; Mrs. Carl Garlitz, Lonaconing, and Mrs. Mabel Rush, Frostburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II. The body will be at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. The rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p. m. A requiem mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a. m. by Rev. Frances Montgomery in St. Michael's Church. Interment, parish cemetery with military honors.
